The Michigan Bureau of Marijuana Regulatory Enforcement (BURE), formerly known as the Bureau of Medical Marihuana Regulation (BMMR), has the responsibility and authority over licensing medical marijuana facilities and personal use applicants under this new law.

If you do have a Level 2 cultivation license and want to become a personal grower. Then you must notify the state at least 15 days before your license is set to expire. This will give them time to issue you the new one.

As far as the approval process goes, it can take between 15 and 30 days. If your application is approve, then you got notice on mail. This notice will detail when your new license expires and any additional requirements you must meet.
